Challenge 2

With the prospect of the garden being ruined during the construction of new boundary walls the owners of this garden decided it was the perfect time to update the garden. Hidcote Landscapes were consulted to design a new garden however during the initial consultation Linda noted that the garden could not be accessed from the living areas of the house or the balcony. The air conditioner which was located under the balcony was visble from the lower level of the garden.

Solution

The balcony was extended to allow direct access from the balcony to the upper level of the garden (an architect was called in to detail the balcony alteration). Timber screening was erected to hide the air conditioner and to create an area for storage of bins etc.
