Contemporary Garden

Having completed a major renovation of the house, the owner wanted the new garden to complement the new look of the house. It also needed to provide privacy from the street and be low maintenance and include a lawn. The existing retaining walls and fences needed to be replaced.

Solution

Rather than build retaining walls on the boundary they were built so that raised garden beds were created, diminishing the apparent height of the walls. Timber decking was used to link the existing deck at the front door with the street entry while small pavers define the lawn edge.
