Resort

A sundeck over a pond, a waterwall and a hard stand area accessed from the rear laneway were the main priorities for the owners of this garden. The clothesline and utility area abutted the garage and were visible from the rest of the garden.

Solution

Timber decking was used for the main outdoor entertaining area and the sundeck so that the two were integrated. A new nib wall was constructed to screen off the utility area which also created courtyard between it and the pond. Poured limestone was used for the hard stand, the utility area and the courtyard. Frangipanis shade the paving and evergreen shrubs will provide a lush look and screen the walls in time.
