Courtyard

The owners wanted to upgrade the existing paving and remove the ivy from the fences. The area was also very hot in summer and the view of the neighbouring property was imposing.

Solution

Stylish granite pavers were used to replace the ceramic tiles. The owners selected a black and white striped awning which not only provided shade but also imparted a French feel to the courtyard. The French influence and the black and white theme are carried through to the garden pots and the cast iron planters. Evergreen white flowering climbers will cover the fence and the potted Magnolia Little Gem will help to screen the view to the neighbour's.
